Public Event Pesaro, Italy

The first public event promoted by the Open Atelier project took place in Pesaro, on the evening of 8th February 2022, in the occasion of the launch of the first Experience – the performance “Around the Lighthouse”. This poetic journey through videos and voices, ensued from the elaboration of the historic photos depicting the life of Skagen artists’ colony, was introduced to a wide public, that filled the venue, Chiesa dell’Annuniziata, accommodating up to 100 people. After the performance, the audience could also enjoy the video realized by young artist Erik Pollini, through the engagement with a group of peers, that explored further perspectives on the Art Museums of Skagen’s heritage. The program of the event was concluded through a presentation of the project led by AMAT’s Daniele Sepe and Daniela Rimei.

The success of the event, that was sold out, was confirmed by the number of attendance requests, significantly overcoming the number of available seats (100), which led the organizers to program an additional presentation, that took place in the afternoon of 9th February and, again, filled up the theatre.
