Open Atelier workshop and session at Art Biennale in Venice / day 05 / MASTERING NEW METHODS AND TOOLS

When runners can see or sense the finish line, normally they make a final push to reach it: the closer we get to a goal, the more effort we tend to make to realize our success. This “runner’s kick” was what the participants experienced in the morning of the fifth day, when the final results have started to materialize.

Through the attentive support of Mara Cerri, Angelo Loy and AMAT’s Daniele Sepe and Daniela Rimei, all the working teams were able to timely wrap the outcomes of their co-creative reinterpretation of the museums’ contents into a transmissible form – and in particular into a video, coalescing images, words, and sounds, and delivering fresh and cutting-edge perspectives on the explored heritage.

To incentive the final rush, the participants spent the afternoon in the Giardini of the Art Biennale. The visit was led by Sabina Jallow and Gennaro Postiglione, who introduced the students to the themes at the core of this year’s edition, Foreigners Everywhere, with the aim to prepare them to the presentation session of the following day.
